Did you know some people have rats as pets? Did you know that once domesticated, they like to snuggle, be petted, and take rides on their owner's shoulders?

About Me
- Matt Dayley
- I am a manager and design engineer at Intel Corporation. I took a brief leave of absence from Intel to go to Georgia Tech's School of Management where I studied the role of nonprofits, firms and government organizations in fostering innovation (e.g. X-Prize Foundation, DARPA, innocentive.com, Michael J. Fox Foundation). Prior to Georgia Tech I worked as a circuit architect at Intel and as a Project Manager for the Kinetics Foundation (Andy Grove's Parkinson's Foundation). I have a passion for understanding how new technologies are developed, whether it's a spacecraft to the moon, a new microprocessor, or a new treatment for Parkinson's. I had previously planned to become a fulltime academic but I love the fact that in my current job at Intel I get to experience firsthand the thrill and challenge of leading engineers in the development of cutting edge technologies.
